An amazing family outdoor cinema experience with a double bill of brilliant Julia Donalsdon & Axel Scheffler animations.
Bring a blanket or camping chair (and of course a picnic), and watch the incredible tales of Room on the Broom & The Gruffalo on a giant cinema screen in the open-air!
Room on the Broom: The story of a kind witch and her cat who invite three other animals (a dog, a bird and a frog) to join them travelling on her broomstick. Will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?
The Gruffalo: The magical tale of a mouse who sets out on a woodland adventure in search of a nut. Encountering predators who all wish to eat him – Fox, Owl and Snake – the brave mouse creates a terrifying, imaginary monster to frighten them away. But what will the mouse do when he meets this frightful monster for real?
Plus music to enjoy before the movie with a soundtrack of specially curated songs.
*Both films are included in the ticket price.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic and snacks to all Adventure Cinema events. Please check your venue information for specific details on whether alcohol is permitted. Glass is not permitted at any venue, so please ensure all food and drink is brought in non-glass containers.
Food, snacks, soft drinks and a bar will be available at most events and we recommend bringing cash as not all vendors will take card payments.
We will always ask our traders to cater for all dietaries, but if you have specific requirements, it is advisable to bring a little something along with you, just in case there isn’t something suitable at the event.
No BBQs are allowed on site.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online only. Our events sell out quickly so book your tickets while you still can.
Most of our venues open around 1 hour 30 mins before the film starts. We recommend you arrive as early as possible to soak up the atmosphere and reserve your spot.
