Once the grand home of the Lowther family, this captivating castle ruin is nestled within 130 acres of beautifully restored gardens. Experience the magic of open-air cinema, where film, history, and adventure unfold at the iconic Lowther Castle.

Event Location

Screenings take place on the esplanade in front of the castle.

Free on-site parking is available in the main car park and overflow, please follow signage and steward’s directions on arrival.

Accessibility: There is accessible parking available 200m from the event space, please ask our stewards on arrival for directions. There is a hardstanding, wheelchair accessible path followed by a grassed, gradual slope up to the event space. The events will be held on flat ground with short grass. There will be accessible toilet facilities on-site. Please speak to our friendly stewards if you require any assistance.
