About the Venue
An awe-inspiring 14th century castle in County Durham, England. It was built by the powerful Neville family. The castle has a rich history, as it has been owned by the same family for over 700 years. Originally the castle was a Saxon hunting lodge before it was transformed into the grand and magnificent castle that stands today. This historic site boasts spectacular medieval architecture, a truly impressive backdrop for the ultimate moviegoing experience.

Screenings take place within the grounds overlooking the castle.
Free on-site parking available in the main visitor car park.
For those travelling by taxi, please make sure you pre-book in advance and again confirm the booking with the firm on the day.
Accessibility: The event is held on short grass with some uneven ground. It is approx. 400m from the car park along a path and field with a slight incline. There will be accessible toilet facilities on-site. Please speak to our friendly stewards if you require any assistance.
